The client must be 18+ years old, or have a legal parent/guardian to agree to all of the Terms of Service as listed below.

Clients are granted exclusive rights for personal use of the work produced as agreed upon, which must not be transferred to any other parties.

Unless specified in the order form as Commercial Licensing, commercial licenses and reselling rights are not included. Commercial use includes usage on merchandise, games, books, videos/streams and any monetized work. Commissioned artwork may only be used for the purpose it was commissioned for.

Commission work made available to the client cannot be traced, edited, or claimed as their own or anyone else's for any reason or purposes.

I retain original copyright and ownership of all my illustrations, and I have the right to display them on my websites, socials, portfolios, art books, etc.

Commission work will not be used for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and NFTs.

Credit to @helen_zzhao must be present wherever the artwork appears on social media, with or without commercial licensing.

Payment through PayPal invoicing or Wise (USD) must be paid in full before I start the commission. If a client is on the waitlist and the commission has not been started, they do not need to pay until the informed commission start date.

Regular updates will be given throughout the process every 3 - 7 days.

The number of final sketch retakes from scratch is limited to 2. Additional retakes will require a fee.

Changes other than slight detail or color edits in later stages of the process will require a fee.

It is the client's responsibility to provide the relevant details and references of the character that should not be missed. I have the right to refuse to revise or correct something that was not obvious, clear, or previously specified.

Prompt and reasonable communication is expected from the client throughout the work process. Lack of communication from the client for 30 days or more while the commission is in progress will result in a canceled commission without refund.

When the Final Preview is sent, only corrections for mistakes in the character design will be allowed.

The client will receive the final artwork through email.

Refunds are strictly not allowed if the illustration has already been started, unless initiated by me.

If I am unable to complete the illustration by the discussed deadline, the client can choose to discuss a refund with me based on the amount of work completed (e.g. 50% of the progress done, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded).

I retain the rights to stop working with and/or refund clients who are disrespectful, or do not provide me with necessary information as asked.
